While fooling around with /proc/net/dev i noticed that after
adding an interface (i tried dummy0 and ppp0) and then removing
it, it still showed up in /proc/net/dev .

Is this really the desired behaviour? Shouldn't the entry
be removed from /proc/net/dev when the interface is removed?
I guess that this really doesn't matter all that much, but
I was just wondering.

btw. I'm using kernel 2.1.217
