Hello,

This is my first post to linux-kernel, forgive the naivete'.

I'm experiencing bizarre sound problems using 2.1.127 and 2.1.127ac1 (and no
other problems, I might add).

Originally (ie, 2.1.127), anything catted to /dev/dsp would come out garbled.
This included .wav and .au data.

Now (ie, ac1) .au data catted to /dev/dsp is fine, but .wav data catted either
way is garbled. The sound has changed between compiles, though.

I also noted a change to sb_common.c in ac1, but am unsure as to the effect.

Sound is compiled in, IRQs, etc., are fine.

Advice/corroboration appreciated.

Regards,

m.
