People,

I'm having a problem mounting a nfs-root filesystem located on a
Digital Unix server from an Alpha Workstation using the 2.1.126 kernel.
(from ftp.kernel.org).

I receive error messages:
call_verify: server requires stronger authentication
call_verify: unknown auth error: 5
Root-NFS Server returned error -5 while mounting /tmp/fisr1
VFS unable to mount root fs via NFS, trying floppy.

If I use my 2.0.35 kernel, the workstation will mount the nfs-root
filesystem, complete its bootup sequences and runs fine..

This is an Alpha CPU based system.

has anyone seen this? ideas/things to look for?
