nfs_lookup_validate: //include has dud inode

I mounted /Development from an AIX 4.2 machine (also /Development). I then
did "rm -rf /Development/*" and then started copy stuff from elsewhere into
/Development. Now things are a bit messed up:

ls -d i*:
ifor install ip

ls include:
ls: include: Input/output error

in syslog I have some:
Nov 12 12:47:27 bridgett kernel: nfs_lookup_validate: //include has dud inode

NB: I was having some bad network problems too (not linux related though)

the machine is now rebooted.
