Unfortunately, I don't know of either for Linux. (Well, someone's probably
got a caching filesystem.) The above is what Solaris calls it, and I think
I've heard of people playing with them and automount maps to create
automatic web mirrors.

Unfortunately, judging by the problems they're already dealing with, asking
the knfs folks for WebNFS support would probably get your head bitten off
:-) --- even if it doesn't require NFSv3 TCP connections....
