2.1.127 IDE floppy seems broken, and system slow on 32M

2.1.127 runs fine on a dual P200 with 64M RAM, except for IDE floppy
(LS120) that behaves strange. Sometimes it works, sometimes the
system freezes for a minute or two and then the program gets "I/O error".
Also, the drive stays locked (would not eject diskette when you press
the button) even if not in use. I have ide and ide-floppy as modules.

On a UP P200 with 32M RAM, the system is as slow as a 2.0.xx kernel
is on a 386sx with 4M RAM... Kernel compiled non-SMP.
