FWIW, me too, with 2.1.127 (for some reason my longer detailed report
never made it to the linux-kernel list). Compiling .128 to test it
now. I also noticed that the active processes in the top window I had
running were all sharing the CPU time almost exactly equally, which
makes me wonder if something has changed in the scheduler to cause this.
