Hi,

I just compiled and installed 2.0.36 on my production-server. But to no
extend: I get massive, reproducable lockups (while it was working fine
under 2.0.34).

What works after a lockup:
* <ALT>-<Fn> console switching
* Numlock, capslock
* The machine responds to ping's

What doesn't work:
* Any other keyboard-input
* Telnet, http etc

Syslog shows (both times):
Nov 18 13:10:12 ttewww in.smtpd[2129]: connect from nic.funet.fi
Nov 18 13:10:15 ttewww innd: ttewww.tte.ele.tue.nl connected 15 streaming
allowed
Nov 18 13:10:15 ttewww innd: ttewww.tte.ele.tue.nl:15 closed seconds 0
accepted 0 refused 0 rejected 0

Attached is the dmesg-output for the .36 kernel.

If really needed, I can give someone (Alan?) telnet-access to the
computer. I can supply any informating needed to debug this thing.
(My suspect is the 3c509)
