matroxfb + softcursor bug

I'm using the softcursor escape:

echo -ne '\033[?17;103;0c' > /etc/issue

This shows the cursor as a steady brown block (against a black
background.) HOWEVER, if the screen blanks, when it reappears the
cursor is flashing brown/blue, which is incorrect.
