I noticed this in testing my new dual Pentium 400MHz machine. I have
some network benchmark tools. To see the throughput without using
the adapter and wire, i,e., see how the code itself works, I have
been benchmarking localhost. I think the new "feature" makes Network
Software performance un-testable.
