Hi guys,

I've been testing the Matrox fb stuff in 2.1.129. Problems with 1280x1024
and 1024x768 24bit console modes are horribly apparent with spurious lines
and scrambled stuff, but easily cleared with ^L. I'm sort of glad
scrollback works though.

I've got a 8MB PCI Matrox Millenium II here. System as in signature.

The SVGA X server works flawlessly, regardless of how much I bugger up the
console, mucho kudos.

Here's my current cmdline:
BOOT_IMAGE=linux root=303 video=matrox:vesa:0x1B8

Now I'll need to update my HOWTO-framebuffer...

Switching from X into console sometimes results in scrambled stuff in the
console though.

If you need additional information, feel free to shout :o)

Cheers,
Alex
