APM/suspend troubles in 2.0.36

I experience a mouse/kbd freeze after a suspend in my notebook after
having upgraded to 2.0.36. The machine is still alive but there is no
way to unlock kbd and mouse.

2.0.35 was fine (no similar lockups of any sort)
