The problem that I reported a couple of versions ago strikes again:
occasionally (not every time) when attampt is made to work with IDE
LS-120, the system freezes for several minutes, and after it revives,
I see things like this in the syslog:

Nov 24 23:31:17 pccross kernel: hda: irq timeout: status=0xd0 { Busy }
Nov 24 23:31:47 pccross kernel: hda: ATAPI reset timed-out, status=0x80
Nov 24 23:31:47 pccross kernel: ide0: unexpected interrupt, status=0x80, count=1
Nov 24 23:32:17 pccross kernel: ide0: reset timed-out, status=0x80
Nov 24 23:32:17 pccross kernel: hda: status timeout: status=0x80 { Busy }
Nov 24 23:32:17 pccross kernel: hda: drive not ready for command
Nov 24 23:32:47 pccross kernel: hda: ATAPI reset timed-out, status=0x80
Nov 24 23:33:17 pccross kernel: ide0: reset timed-out, status=0x80
Nov 24 23:33:18 pccross kernel: hda: status timeout: status=0x80 { Busy }
Nov 24 23:33:18 pccross kernel: hda: drive not ready for command
Nov 24 23:33:18 pccross kernel: hda: status timeout: status=0x80 { Busy }
Nov 24 23:33:18 pccross kernel: hda: drive not ready for command

This never happend with any kernels before 2.1.12x so I don't think
that it could be a hardware problem. I have a dual P200 ASUSTEK
motherboard, on-board IDE controller, IDE driver built as module
(all hard drives are SCSI).
