a little off-topic but maybe someone can shed some light on it. I've tried
to upgrade from 2.0.35 to 2.1.130 as usual (well, in former times...) today
and found all modules can't resolve some symbols. Using modutils-2.1.121.
E.g. dummy.o misses __kfree_skb, ether_setup, kmalloc, unregister_netdev,
register_netdev, dev_alloc_name, kfree. 2.1.130 boots fine but booting stops
after the usual "depmod -a". What's wrong here?
