When I copy some files, (for example, when I install Debian 2.0 or when
I copy /usr to /root/temp) I get this on console:
[root@hell /usr]# cp -r /usr /root/temp
hda: dma_intr: status=0x51 { DriveReady SeekComplete Error }
hda: dma_intr: error=0x84 { BadSector DriveStatusError },
LBAsect=3338688,
sector=2
hda: dma_intr: status=0x51 { DriveReady SeekComplete Error }
hda: dma_intr: error=0x84 { BadSector DriveStatusError },
LBAsect=3338688,
sector=2
......
My computer is new, and I change my hard disk, but the problem
continues.
- I use RH5.2 or debian 2.0 the problem continues.
- I use kernel 2.0.36 or 2.1.130
- My HD is: Quantum Fireball 5.1EL (I think)
- My Mainboard is a Soyo SY-6BE
- I have 128 MB of ram and lilo have the parameters (append = "mem =
128M")
Help!! and thanks.
