I've got a little problem with my recently flashed modem (USR sporster
flash).
My ISP gave me a new phone number to access the internet to higher speed
(V90 instead of V34 +). I simply changed the phone number in the ppp
setup, but i can't connect :(
I get the : CONNECT LAPM, V90, .....
and then NO CARRIER ! and the modem hang up
Is there anything needed to use a V90 modem ?
I use Linux Redhat 5.1 - kernel 2.0.36 - pppd 2.3
I tried under NT4.0 and had no problems at all.
