Bridging and Traffic Shaping together

Hallo,

I need to make a bridge with two ethernet cards (maybe three) and to do a
traffic shaping on one of them. Please, it's there posibility to make it
with experimental code of bridging and shaping in the linux kernel?

I have working bridge made from linux box (kernel 2.0.36), but how to
downspeed a traffic on one of the ethernet cards. I understand, that
shaping in this release is made as routing problem, but how to make it
without routing?

I have one machine dedicated only for this bridge, so I can do with
kernel, what I want. (my idea is to make a boot floppy with bridging on
it, where will be parameter, what speed want I for what eth).

Can be there some small patch in the bridge code, which will wait for some
time between forwarding the packets? (may be some machine tick?)

Thanx for your help, Roman.

P.S.: Sorry for my english...
