re: 2.2pre1 crashes with partition check

I have the same problem, I've only tried 2.2.0pre1-ac2 and -ac3. I
wonder if it's SCSI related, though both machines here have SCSI
compiled in, only one has a card, HD (sda) and MO (sdb).
A-BIT SM5 (updated BIOS to handle 233MHz CPU) with Cyrix 233-MMX,
AH2940-AUW (ULTRA disabled) and I'm booting off an IBM 3.2 Gig EIDE HD.
I'm back on 2.1.132-ac3 on this one.
