We're waaaaaay offtopic for linux-kernel, but I'm actually rather curious;
has anyone taken the userspace portion of one of the BSD spins, and ported
it to run under a Linux kernel? A literal "BSD/Linux", as it were?

Sounds like it would be a rather interesting result. ;-)
