I also am experiencing trouble with cdrecord on the recent kernels. I
am running 2.2.0pre6 and cdrecord writes the CD, but during the fixation
process dies with a flurry of SCSI I/O errors. I am using the aic7xxx
driver and a Panasonic 7502B CD-R.
