Current suqid configure scripts are broken -- I have a patch I've yet
to submit to Duane to address this (and also to prefer poll when the
number of FDs in essential unlimit as in the ac patches)

Either way it's broken -- programs should test with getrlimit and use
that over `guessing' with a variaty of preprocessor defined values.
