Here we go, here we go, here we go...

I think reality is playing a nasty, evil and bastardly
trick on me to make me delurk. I wish it stopped...

Linux kinder 2.2.0-pre8 #12 Tue Jan 19 17:21:18 EST 1999 i686 unknown

Reading specs from /usr/lib/gcc-lib/i686-pc-linux-gnu/egcs-2.91.60/specs
gcc version egcs-2.91.60 19981201 (egcs-1.1.1 release)

opt: -mcpu=pentiumpro -march=pentiumpro

Goddamn. I think everybody knows my system spec by now. :)

/dev/hda1 /mars/red vfat defaults 0 0
/dev/hda5 /mars/green vfat defaults 0 0

1009.root@kinder:/mars/red/amiga>> mkdir amiga

this took utter AGES to do it's thing with intermittant flashing of the HD
light (ie now and again). eventually it worked and somesequent mkdir's were
their usual speedy self, but, after the following oops, I kinda hope they
didn't take any data with them. The stuff there is older then linux itself.

:)

Anyways, ze oops:

The command:

1023.root@kinder:/mars/red/amiga>> mv 2/zip/dl/NSDPatch43_15.lha amiga/

There was a segfault right after the oops too.

Since noone has told me I'm doing thse wrong yet I'll presume I'm
doing em right :)

Boy did *I* jynx myself... :)

Also, doing a directory listing afterwards caused the ls process
to freeze. NOW I'm somewhat worried... :/
