The Beowulf site is confusing and poorly designed. I would recommend
putting in a link to the linux Parallel Processing HOWTO
(http://yara.ecn.purdue.edu/~pplinux/PPHOWTO/pphowto.html) as well. I
found it far more informative and interesting.
