CDROM-less in 2.2.0. ;o(

2.2.0 on RedHat 5.1 massively upgraded practically to 5.2 or even
better, with all known 2.2.0 Changes packages installed.

No cdrom support whatsoever. It worked back in 2.1.12x, but no
more. Perhaps I'm doing something wrong, but I don't know where
to start. I spent 2 hours alltogether on this prior to posting,
so if it is something stupid, please bare with me.
