2.2.1- full-duplex SB16?

I searched quite a bit on this topic, found some varying information,
but nothing actually saying the current state of things. So, is it
possible to do full-duplex operation using the SB16 driver in Linux
2.2.1? I have an AWE64 (ISA). If so, is there anything special I need
to do?
