This is the actual patch you need (if you
don't want to apply the whole of ac -- although
I would recommend that, coz it's usually a
good line of kernels):

diff -u --new-file --recursive --exclude-from ../exclude linux.vanilla/drivers/scsi/scsi_error.c linux.ac/drivers/scsi/scsi_error.c
