Went to shutdown knfsd. I'm using the init script from
Red Hat's rawhide knfs rpm. I got this in syslog:

nfsd: terminating on signal 9

then the I simple couldn't do anything. Network was down,
could log in on the console. Just was dead.

This has happened more then once.
