The hint_ide.pci file is attached. I've just restarted using the patched
kernel so I don't know if the problem has been fixed but I'll let you know
if it doesn't. Let me ask you sometingh... why did you change the ide
driver if it worked just fine in the kernels<=3D2.0.X? I never have any
problems with those ide drivers.
If I say yes to the question "Use old disk-only driver on primary
interface" (CONFIG_BLK_DEV_HD_IDE) will i be using the 2.0.X driver? and
if that's true will I have any problems with mi CDROM on hdb?
