Hi All

Why do we even want or need such hacks in kernel space?

All my tools work fine, sed, less etc all can read /proc file happily on
2.2.6 and 2.0.36 using debian 2.0 boxes, this isnt even the most recent
release and yet all the tools work fine on /proc files.

We all know /proc is a broken place but we shouldnt try to break it
further.
