Re: empty core file

It works here:

bash$ ls -l core
ls: core: No such file or directory
bash$ ulimit -c unlimited
bash$ sleep 5000 & kill -SEGV $!
[1] 14455
bash$
[1]+ Segmentation fault (core dumped) sleep 5000
bash$ ls -l core
-rw------- 1 mroos mroos 241664 May 17 21:08 core
bash$ uname -a
Linux xxx.xxxx 2.2.9 #1 Fri May 14 17:53:17 EEST 1999 i586 unknown
