web3 kernel: Unable to handle kernel paging request at virtual

I just upgraded to kernel v2.2.9 from kernel v2.2.7 and have noticed the
ethernet card work fine for awhile then not respond until the machine is
rebooted. I do not have local physical access to the machine so debugging
is difficult. Is the ethernet card going bad (3com 905) or is there a
possible kernel bug? The machine is running in SMP mode with two pentium
ii processors. One thing to note is that I believe the 905 card is not
revision B. Please email me if you think you know of a problem so that I
can send you more information like the system.map.

Thanks
