I'm just finishing one that handles the few bits needed for audio. An
advance copy is at http://dancer.ca.sandia.gov/~pw/afwd-0.1.tgz which
is SMP safe, but will Oops your machine if you kill the server daemon
before the client one. I'm working on it ...
