Hello,

i want to compile the modules in the kernelsource 2.3.8 and get the following errormessage:

make[2]: Entering directory `/usr/src/linux-2.3.7/fs/fat'
gcc -D__KERNEL__ -I/usr/src/linux/include -Wall -Wstrict-prototypes -O2 -fomit-frame-pointer -pipe -fno-strength-reduce -DCPU=586 -DMODULE -c -o file.o file.cfile.c:60: `generic_readpage' undeclared here (not in a function)

I had no problems with previous kernelversion 2.3.5. What is the problem ?

Thanks in advance

Greetings
Frank
