[7.5] This only happens when booting in directly from Windows (via a
shortcut set to enter DOS mode and run loadlin). It may be worth noting
that Windows engages the SB Live's DOS emulation before calling loadlin
(but I don't have the linux drivers starting on boot, so this shouldn't
be a problem).
