My stuff:

PIIX3: IDE controller on PCI bus 00 dev 39
PIIX3: not 100% native mode: will probe irqs later
ide0: BM-DMA at 0xf000-0xf007, BIOS settings: hda:pio, hdb:pio
ide1: BM-DMA at 0xf008-0xf00f, BIOS settings: hdc:pio, hdd:pio
hda: Maxtor 71000 A, ATA DISK drive
hdb: HP CD-Writer+ 7100, ATAPI CDROM drive
hdc: IBM-DTTA-371010, ATA DISK drive
hdd: LEOPTICS INC. 32X CDROM, ATAPI CDROM drive
ide0 at 0x1f0-0x1f7,0x3f6 on irq 14
ide1 at 0x170-0x177,0x376 on irq 15
hda: Maxtor 71000 A, 958MB w/64kB Cache, CHS=973/32/63, DMA
hdc: IBM-DTTA-371010, 9641MB w/465kB Cache, CHS=19590/16/63, (U)DMA

I've been running /sbin/hdparm -c1 -d1 -u1 -X34 -W1 -k1 -K1 /dev/hd[ac] on
all hard drives since about two years ago, (though I only had the Maxtor
drive for some of that time). I haven't had a single crash caused by
something I couldn't attribute to something (i.e., the 'stuck on TLB IPI
wait' problem fixed in 2.2.10)

Currently 2.2.10, though none have shown problem here.

My video card is a generic S3 ViRGE using the S3V X server, you?

00:11.0 VGA compatible controller: S3 Inc. ViRGE/DX or /GX (rev 01)
