Hello,
I try to apply the proposed-2.2.11pre2 on a linux-2.2.10 from the kernel
mirrors. This is done on a PowerPC platform.
The linux-2.2.10 compiles out of the box with the default config for
PowerMac. When I apply the proposed-2.2.11pre2 with patch -p1
<proposed... it does without any problem. Then I take the default config
file for PowerMac (make menuconfig, exit, save config).
Make dep as next step. And at last make vmlinux.

here I get an error in the linking section:

Can anyone give some hints to this problem??

Thanks in advance

Andreas
