This is quota subsystem oops... I have fixes for 2.2 kernels if you are interested.
In 2.3 I'm rewriting some things as new file structure must be introduced due to
possible 32-bit uids/gids... The patches for this are too at ftp://atrey.karlin.mff.cuni.cz/
pub/local/jack/ as quota-patch-2.3.11.diff.gz. But utilities aren't all ported so I don't
expect you are going to use it ;-).
