2.0.36 will not detect a FlashDrive

Hi,

i am trying to user LRP to build a router. If have met a kernel problem.
Kernel 2.0.36 and 2.0.37 can not detect the FlashDrive I'd like to use.
Linux 2.2.10 will detect it without problems. I have tried giving
hdd=noprobe and hdd=<geometry> and both to force detection. No luck.
Although the book seems closed on 2.0.xx I thought this might be worth
reporting.

Regards
Oliver
