Kernel Protection error - 2.0.37 & 2940UW

I have been getting these general protection errors for quite a while. I'm
running an adaptec 2940UW and kernel 2.0.37. I do not believe that I was
having this problem with an older version of the kernel. Any additional
info needed, please email me.
