isdn module version mismatch in pre-2.3.14-1

I compiled pre-2.3.14-1
It boots fine, but loading the isdn modules is impossible.
modprobe complains it is compiled for 2.3.13 while
the kernel version is 2.3.14.

Is there some way to work around this? I wanted to test
the newer isdn code.
