AMD Athlon (K7) / anybody working on detection?

Hello,

I get tuesday an Athlon 500 with MSI mainboard! :-)

Anybody working on Athlon detection? May I offer any help?
Is the 'Iron gate's' (U)DMA IDE controller compatible with the
VIA82C586?

Alan do you have an Athlon?
