Anyone know if any MMX patches exist for this function anywhere?
If not, I may give it a try this weekend.

I heard the Athlon's FPU performance beats all x86's.
If MMX is faster than FPU, then yes, the patch in the URL above
would be useless, but I've no hardware to bench on yet.. :-)
