Hello,

Just after changing the resolution (vga=794), leaving a black screen of the
new resolution, the system halt, is there a way to learn where the problem
is?

As I don't see anything on the scsi chain (as it should...) maybe the problem
is from there?

please note that I have also compiled 2.3.15 with gcc 2.8.1 with the same results.

Under 2.3.14, from dmesg:

Linux version 2.3.14 (root@lsne-dhcp-1-199) (gcc version pgcc-2.91.66 19990314 (egcs-1.1.2 release)) #10 Sun Aug 22 20:14:20 CEST 1999
