kernel oops in ess_intr+104/156

bug-report in "/usr/src/linux/REPORTING-BUGS" format

i got an kernel oops in ess_intr+104/156

[2.]

while normaly working using my linux machine with GNOME desktop (sound
enabled) i issued "Lock screen" and went away. when i returned about 10
minutes later, machine has been completely frozen with X environment on
display.

there is one oops in /var/log/messages as follows:

(ksymoops is bellow in section 5)

also i got some messages in /var/log/messages (they happens at
time i was playing MP3's with xmms) like following:
