I have ATM:

0: uart:16550A port:3F8 irq:4 baud:9600 tx:119175 rx:651773 oe:153
CTS|DSR

(Baud rate when in use is 115200)

ifconfig ppp0 shows.

RX packets:54 errors:17 dropped:0 overruns:0 frame:17

So oe is the factor, but I wasn't getting them to the same extent
under 2.2.10.
