OT: Will the SANE folks be writing the USB scanner drivers or kernel

Hello,

I am hoping to be able to get my EPSON Perfection 636U scanner running
with the development kernel. I've already discovered that there is no
SANE driver for this scanner yet. I notice there is a "USB HP-only
Scanner" option in the kernel. Who should I follow up with?
