[root@storage /root]# gcc -v
Reading specs from /usr/lib/gcc-lib/i386-redhat-linux/egcs-2.91.66/specs
gcc version egcs-2.91.66 19990314/Linux (egcs-1.1.2 release)

running hdparm on just 1 hd goes ok

hdparm -t /dev/hda ; hdparm -t /dev/hdc ; hdparm -t /dev/hde ; hdparm -t
/dev/hdg

but :

hdparm -t /dev/hda & hdparm -t /dev/hdc & hdparm -t /dev/hde & hdparm -t
/dev/hdg

just locks up the system

P.s.
hdparm -t /dev/hdi gives this error :

/dev/hdi is not a hard disk.

(fdisk just works ok)

hdparm version 3.5
