Well, then it's unlikely that it fails due to a poor power supply. Anyway,
you can check if it's 3.58V even when you put heavy load on the card (eg.
ftp transfer or tcpspray). The Riva TNT wants a LOT of 3.3V current. You can
check whether things get better when not using X.
