I am running slackware kernel 2.2.12. And while it will run good, I
wonder why things seize up/freeze etc., with that funny screen error when
you simply kill a bunch of axports that are attached. That sure knocks the
hell out of things but never happens in 2.0.36.

Just a thought for comment.
