I'm partial to the longer-winded variants like /dev/disk/scsi/0/2/0/0_0
and /dev/ide/atapi/0/master/0/raw, but I'm also a bit biased.

Hmm, busses are sorta-tree-like, filesystems are sorta-tree-like...
